Short Story
I have never been really burned by an eBay seller, but I have had some minor upsets and disappointments. Then again you can't really be burned if you are not willing to spend too much money on eBay. Today I was listening to the pod cast, KQED: The Writers' Block, and one of the segments was by Kenneth Walton, author of Fake: Forgery, Lies, and eBay. If you have an extra 20 minutes listen to how this guy made a money ripping people off on eBay, by selling, "art, fine and otherwise" . After listening to the segment my interest was peaked and I found out more about his story here.

I'm sure he ripped Genie off once or twice.
i hope so!
i have been burned on ebay. but i digress because what i really want to talk about is the notion of the santa-in-an-aloha-shirt-ornament [in re: to your ornament post] being tacky... i have two.
then again, it's quite possible my entire tree is tacky.
anyway, your blog is darling, billie. and so are you.
Brooke, hello! No, no, your Santa's are most likely wearing very chic aloha shirts and not tacky at all. Whatever, I will probably end up with Santa's in shirts because I can't find anything I like, boo. I am glad I can spy on you and your darling family now that you've found me!
