i have the Dirt Devil Reaction Dual Cyclonic. Promise me you will not buy it. just about every other day I'm taking it apart to fix it. There are so many places for things to get stuck and trapped. I hate it and i'm about to throw it out the window.
I don't know if you've seen that commercial, but its a vacuum that rotates on a ball called Dyson. I'm sure there is a website but I just don't know how good it is. My little brother, who is somehow a machine/vacuum/car know it all says it is good. It also looks pricey too.
anyways, where are your hawaii photos? I like see.

thanks sharon, I will avoid the DD a all cost.
We love our Kirby. It's pricey, I know. But we kept replacing vacuums and at the rate we were going our Kirby has actually turned out to be cheaper.

you know which would be best right??........an Electrolux of course! and I'm sure your bro can help you with that ;)
Get a used electrolux.
They are put together very well.
Ours is a 10 yr old model with a $55 refurbish on the power nozel (s/p?).
Works awsome and it is meant to be rebuilt when it finally dies.
I LOVE our vacuum. It's a True HEPA by Kenmore with a 360 swivel hose. It was 300 bones, but totally worth it.
