First: This morning at around 3:30 after feeding le petite bebe I got two for real deal smiles. That made being up so early 100% worth it. Second: Nico had major gas this afternoon and when Mike opened up her diaper she sprayed the wall across from the changing table. Awesome. Wish I had a picture of the first event for you.

Congrats on the smiles! :-) Not so much congrats on the poop spray. Jake sprayed our bed sheets one time. That's the last time we changed him on the bed instead of the changing table! ;-)
I had to laugh out loud about the poop.

Regarding the "real deal" smiles---I guess that made your day (or night)-how do you classify the two I got, that you also saw?
The poop---it helps if you don't bend her legs up when the diaper is off. Maybe you should paint the closet yellow too.
I still remember changing Jess on mom and dad's water bed, and that was the first time the expression "fire hose" came to my realization. I was about 9 years old.
